Although this centre was originally established with the help of Standard Bank, the backbone is a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers who come regularly to read to the children, twice a week.
Most of the learners come from Hillbrow and adjacent areas, living in poor conditions.  The need at Parktown Public is growing every year and the school values The Link’s contribution enormously.  It is so worthwhile to see how two hours of your time per week can make such an impact on the lives of these children. Come and share in this rewarding programme!
