SUNNYRIDGE
Sunnyridge Primary School opened in 1953 and today the school has 1280 learners and 44 teachers. Classes average 40 learners per class and we support the Grade 2’s with our literacy programme. Learners are drawn from all areas including Primrose, Katlehong, Spruitview, Vosloorus and Tembisa and speak a wide variety of languages at home. The school has its very own “mini” zoo with rabbits, chickens, cats, pigs and snakes. Reading happens in the school hall. This centre opened in 2018.

- Take exit 422 to M37
- Turn right into Edenvale Rd
- Keep left onto AG de Witt Rd
- Keep left onto Main Rd
- Turn left onto Zenith Street, which winds and becomes Capella, then Vesta, then Orient, then Pitts Ave
- The school entrance is on Pitts Ave.
- Parking for volunteers off Korhaan Street.
- Continue past the school to the stop street, turn right into Korhaan.
- Carry on to the zebra crossing and the entrance to the parking is on the right.
